Our Coniston leaders begun the year with a leadership ceremony at Keira High School and then attended the GRIP Leadership conference at The University of Wollongong.
Coniston Public School commemorated Anzac Day with a special assembly and the laying of wreaths crafted by students in their classrooms.
Our Athletics Carnival at Beaton Park provided students with the opportunity to participate in a wide range of track and field events.
All classes participated in basketball lessons, made possible by the Sporting Schools Grant. Students had the chance to develop essential basketball skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.
Our Stage 3 students thoroughly enjoyed their two-night stay at The Berry Sport and Recreation Camp.
At Berry Sport and Recreation camp, Stage 3 students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including archery, bike riding, canoeing and damper making.

Six of our students recently travelled to Sydney to participate in the Cantabile Music Festival at the Opera House where they sang in a mass choir of more than 600 students accompanied by bands, orchestras and a pianist.
Our school Cross Country was a fun-filled event with students enthusiastically cheering on their house groups as they completed laps around the school.
Our Student Representative Council (SRC) promoted "Do It for Dolly Day". Students wore blue and decorated their classroom doors to raise awareness, spark conversations and support young people impacted by bullying.
Our Ganugan Garden has been bustling this week, with classes cooking with fresh broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower.
Seven of our Stage 3 students proudly showcased their artworks at the Keirabald Art Exhibition held at Project Contemporary Artspace. This exhibition, organised by Keira High School, features creations from its six feeder primary schools as well as emerging artists from Keira High.
Our Aboriginal students celebrated NAIDOC Week by planting a variety of native plants in our Harmony Garden.

The Gumaraa Cultural Group visited our school, offering students the opportunity to engage in and experience a range of Aboriginal cultural activities.
Students in Years 4 to 6 enthusiastically participated in the NSW Rocks Times Tables Competition.
Sixteen of our Stage 2 students participated in the Excelsior Cup at Keira High School, where they competed against six local primary schools in a variety of academic, physical, and creative challenges.
Stage 3 Excursion – Art of Place
Students explored how people’s relationships with the natural world inspire and shape art. This program encourages students to confidently express themselves while fostering a deep connection to place through creative expression. It supports all domains of wellbeing, with a special focus on the spiritual and emotional aspects.
Stage 3 visited the Science Space at The University of Wollongong.
Students had an amazing time at the combined Swimming Carnival, showcasing their skills, sportsmanship, and team spirit in a fun and energetic atmosphere.
Students in Stage 2 and 3 enthusiastically participated in the Term 2 Gala Day, with the girls showcasing their skills in soccer and the boys demonstrating great teamwork and sportsmanship in dragon tag.
In Term 3, students in Stage 2 and 3 eagerly took part in the Gala Day, with the girls displaying impressive skills in Dragon Tag, while the boys showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship on the soccer field.
We celebrated World Bee Day with Buzby with a special assembly and activities in the garden.
K-2 had a great time exploring the activities at the University of Wollongong Science Space.
Our Student Representative Council organised a Multicultural Day to celebrate the rich diversity of our school community.
